Fall Deer Hunting.......THE BUCK STOPS HERE!

Dates: Virginia Deer Season, November 2010.  Typically the first two weeks of regular deer season in Wythe County, Virginia.

Bow and muzzle loading seasons are NOT available.

Hours: Daylight until dark with a midday lunch break.

Cost:  $500 per person per day to hunt.  The FULL DEPOSIT is due with the application and registration form.

Fees per kill:

• $500 per doe for 1 - 2 days of hunting; prior approval required.
• No charge for a doe with the purchase of a 3 to 6 day hunt.
• $2000 for a buck with a total gross of 120" to 130".
• $2500 for a buck with a total gross of 131" to 140".
• $3000 for a buck with a total gross of 141" to 150".
• $3500 for a buck with a total gross of 151" to 160".
• $4000 for a buck with a total gross of 161" to 170".
• $4500 for a buck with a total gross of 171" to 180".
• $5000 for a buck with a total gross of 181" to 200".
• $5000 for a buck with a total gross of 200" plus $100 per inch over 200".

Requirements:

1. Current Virginia hunting license and evidence of hunting insurance for the hunting period booked.
2. Accepted application and registration form with payment.
3. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
4. Hunters must follow the rules and regulations posted here and at www.VDGIF.gov.
5. Refund minus $100 processing fee if cancellation is at least 30 days prior to hunt date.
6. No refund if cancellation is less than 30 days prior to hunt date.  Rescheduling of hunt date will be offered if available.
7. Registration fee:  VISA, MC, and check accepted.
8. Kill fee payment: VISA, MC, or cash accepted.

W.W. Ranch staff will provide a secure, secluded, strategically placed enclosed hunting stand for each hunter.  Staff will transport hunters to and from their stands.  All hunting is restricted to these stands; no tree stands are permitted.  Staff will clean and dress killed bucks.  Hunters provide coolers for transport.  Videotaping of the hunt is  available for purchase.

Spring Gobbler Hunting........LET'S TALK TURKEY!

Dates:  April, 2011; Wythe County Virginia; Dates are typically the last two weeks of April.

Hours: 1/2 hour before sunrise until noon; afternoon fishing is optional.

Cost:  $1500 per person for three (3) days of hunting

Requirements:

1. Current Virginia hunting license and evidence of hunting insurance for the hunting period.
2. Accepted application and registration form and full payment.
3. Minors must be accompanied by parent or guardian.
4. Hunters must follow the rules and regulations posted at www.VDGIF.gov.
5. Refund minus $100 processing fee if cancellation is more than 30 days before hunting date.
6. No refunds if cancellation is less than 30 days prior to hunting date.  Rescheduling of hunt will be offered if available.
7. VISA and MasterCard and checks accepted.

W.W. Ranch staff will provide an experienced guide for each hunter.  No more than two hunters assigned to one guide.  Staff will clean and bag killed gobblers and provide a light midday lunch.  The hunt may be videotaped and available for purchase.
